Velocity Improvement Program
If you throw a baseball and want a stronger, more dynamic and durable arm, then this program is for you. Begin the High School (or youth) season with an edge in arm strength!
Goals of the Class:
* Proper Arm Action for Increased Velocity
* Proper Arm Action to Reduce Stress
* Increased Throwing Stamina
* Conditioned Arm and Body for Season
* Become Explosive & Athletic on the mound
* Become Explosive & Athletic from any position on the field
* Introduce and teach throwing mechanics of hard throwers.
* Recruit Quick Twitch Muscle Fiber
* Increase Overall Velocity!
Methods of Achievement:
Each class is broken up into six parts
* Class begins with Dynamic Stretching
* Dynamic and Intensive Tubing Exercises
* Explosive Medicine Ball Throws and Movements
* Overload/Underload Throwing Series
* Back-shaping Drill Series
* Athletic Throwing
* Cool Down
Our athletes expect a 7-10 mph increase in both arm velocity and bat speed in a 12 week period.
Classes are offered Monday through Friday from 4pm to 8pm, Saturday from 10am to 4pm, and Sunday from 12 pm to 3 pm.
Classes are limited to 15 players per session. Players MUST sign up for a specific class in advance.
